great beach access and nearby parks for city explorers

I spent three restful nights here and loved the short walk to beautiful Otter Point State Recreation Site. The nearby Event Center on the Beach made for some lovely strolls during my visit, while the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring my needs were met throughout my stay. as a solo traveler, the ambiance made me feel safe and welcome.

The room was spacious and clean, with great water pressure in the shower and plenty of pillows! I really enjoyed the outdoor movie nights and the beautiful garden area to unwind. The only hiccup was that we didn't have housekeeping until checkout, but we didn't mind that at all – it’s an easy fix! 😊

Great Experience with Stunning Views!

Had a lovely family stay. The ocean view from our balcony in the Standard Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was breathtaking! The kids adored the quirky light show at night. Enjoyed the 20% discount at the nearby Chowder House, but wish the food was better. Grab free coffee in the lobby!

the room was kinda small, but the view from the balcony was awesome. the light show was super fun and unique. got easy beach access with a short path. ice machine was simple to find.

We had a nice time at this place! The beach was a short walk from our room, which was super clean and beautiful. The light show each night was a cool surprise. Our dining options were limited since it’s in a quieter area, but the picnic area was a nice touch for hangouts.

Great views and friendly atmosphere

We had an enjoyable stay with stunning ocean views from our balcony and a lovely sunset to unwind to in the evenings. The staff were accommodating and friendly, making our stay comfortable. However, the noise from the hot water heater in the neighboring rooms was disruptive during the night.

We loved the beach access just a few blocks away! My kids enjoyed building sandcastles while we watched planes overhead. Plus, our room was clean and cozy, especially for our family and dog. Can't beat the welcoming vibe from the staff!

In my wife’s opinion, a larger breakfast selection would be great for families.

I loved the cozy rocking chairs on the balcony for sunset views and the charming light show each night. The room had high ceilings and a spacious feel, much better than I expected!

we had a great stay at pacific reef hotel & light show. our room was comfortable, and it was just a short walk to a beautiful beach. the community room was a nice touch since we didn’t have a view. the staff were super friendly and helped us with a last-minute change, making our stay even better.
